Final approval of the Jay Project Water Licence

The GNWT Minister of Environment and Natural Resources granted the amendment to Ekati Diamond Mine’s Type A Water Licence as recommended by the Wek’èezhıı Land and Water Board.  This amendment allows for Dominion Diamond Ekati Corporation to operate the Jay Project.  The Jay Project was already approved for construction in 2016.
